Christine Simokaitis
Christine Simokaitis received her MFA from Goddard College in 2001.  
Her work has appeared in
Calyx, Natural Bridge, Thin Air, Alligator Juniper,
and other journals, and the anthologies,
Are We Feeling Better Yet?  Women
Speak about Healthcare in America
(Penultimate Press) and Mourning
Sickness
(OmniArts Press).

She is the author of
Into the Wilderness, a memoir of motherhood, several
chapters of which are published, and is currently seeking an agent for the
manuscript.  

Christine is co-founder of Dirt Factory, a writing group for mothers offering
workshops, writing space, and a childcare co-op.  

Currently, she is finishing
In My Other Life Right Now, a collection of hybrid
prose.  

Christine lives in Chicago with her husband and two boys.
