Joan Powers
								Joan Powers has a Bachelor's Degree in English from California State University, Chico and an MFA from Goddard College.  She lives near Portland, Oregon where she works for Portland Community College.  Her work includes two novels in progress, The Poison Tree and Miracle Hot Springs.  Her current project is a collection of short fiction, Station Wagon Stories.
